  • Harold R. Adams Scholarship Fund. Income supports undergraduate scholarships for entering freshmen with preference given to those from Highland County.
  • Ruth Sonner Adams Study Abroad Scholarship. Recipients must be pursuing a Study Abroad opportunity in the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences.
  • Miriam Ruggles Adkins Pickaway County Scholarship Fund. Provides a scholarship to Pickaway County students who are interested in majoring in agriculture.
  • Ag Alumni Scholarship. Provides recognition to outstanding student leaders in the College.
  • Agricultural Scholars Fund. Provides scholarship support to any rank student in agriculture.
  • AGS Sayre Scholarship. Provides scholarships to students that are enrolled in the College and are members of Alpha Gamma Sigma fraternity.
  • Ann Hoying Ahrns and Thomas Ahrns 4-H Scholarship Fund. Provides scholarships for 4-H members from Fort Laramie High School. Second preference is for 4-H members from any Shelby County high school.
  • Alpha Gamma Rho Scholarship
    • RALPH L. BAZLER MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP. Income provides a scholarship for a student best exemplifying academic excellence and potential contribution to agriculture; with first preference to a junior and then a sophomore member of Beta Chapter, Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity, who is enrolled in a four-year curriculum in agriculture.
    • THE ALPHA GAMMA RHO SCHOLARSHIP. Income used to provide at least two non-renewable scholarships to undergraduate students who are attending the Columbus campus who are members of Alpha Gamma Rho, have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher, and belong to at least one club or organization.
  • Alpha Gamma Rho Study Abroad Scholarship. Supports students who are members of Alpha Gamma Rho and pursuing a study abroad experience.
  • Alpha Gamma Sigma Foundation Sophomore, Junior, Senior Scholarship. Supports students in agriculture with financial need and above average grades.
  • Alpha Tau Zeta Scholarships
    • THE DONALD E. AND MARTHA L. FOGG SCHOLARSHIP. The scholarships will be awarded annually to an active member of Alpha Tau Zeta at The Ohio State University. The scholarship will be selected at the end of Spring semester for the following academic year. The student(s) must hold at least a 3.0 gpa. Any recipient must be living in the Alpha Tau Zeta fraternity house at the time of receipt of the scholarship and, in addition, must have been living there the past two semesters (if applicable) while enrolled in The Ohio State University.
    • TOWNSHEND ATZ ENDOWMENT FUND. Income furthers the missions of the Alpha Tau Zeta Fraternity and provides scholarships for sophomore, junior or senior fraternity members, with a minimum 3.0 GPA, enrolled in the College.
  • The William M. and Darlene Aldrige Agriculture Scholarship Fund. Income supports scholarships for students enrolled in the College or ATI who exhibit high moral standards, reside in Highland County, and have graduated from a high school in Highland County, Ohio.
  • Kyle Althauser Memorial Scholarship. Income provides scholarships to Hardin County students entering studies in agriculture and natural resources. May be renewable for the sophomore year.
  • Kyle Althauser Memorial Study Abroad Scholarship. Supports students studying abroad in credit programs sponsored by the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences. Preference to Hardin County and surrounding counties.
  • Daniel G. Amstutz International Trade Scholarship Fund. Provides scholarship support to undergraduate or graduate students taking coursework in international trade, or conducting research or participation in an internship with an international trade business.
  • The Andersons, Inc Charitable Foundation Scholarship. Income provides one four-year scholarship for an undergraduate student enrolled in the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences as part of the Pat and Bobby Moser Scholars Program.
  • Marlowe and Oscar F. Axene Merit Scholarship in Agriculture. Income provides a scholarship, including tuition, fees, books and supplies, for an outstanding freshman enrolled in the College.

B

  • Ed Bacome Scholarship. Supports students in the College (married students preferred).
  • The David J. Baird Scholarship Fund. Supports at least one fifty percent (50%) tuition and fee academic scholarship and a study abroad scholarship at an equal amount as part of the Pat and Bobby Moser Scholars program.
  • James M. Barrett Family Endowment Fund. Partial income used to provide a scholarship for an entering student from Washington County with 4-H experience.
  • Marvin T. Batte Endowed Scholarship. Provides merit-based scholarships, with additional consideration to include professional experience, internships, and involvement in student organizations.
  • Dr. Dale Baughman Scholarship Fund. Provides scholarships to undergraduate students who are majoring in Agricultural Education.
  • The David F. and Kathryn B. Beard Scholarship Endowment Fund. Undergraduate merit scholarships to students who maintain a 3.5 GPA or above during their three years of high school or while attending the college.
  • David and Phyllis Beck Scholarship Fund. Income provides undergraduate and graduate scholarships in the College, with preference given to animal science students from Montgomery and Preble Counties in Ohio.
  • Benfield Scholarship. Income provides scholarships to undergraduate students in the College at the sophomore rank or higher, who have a minimum 3.0 gpa, and are participating in a research project on the College's Wooster campus.
  • John Paul Benua Memorial Fund. Income provides scholarships to junior or senior students in the College with interest in production agriculture or agribusiness with a 2.8 GPA.
  • Ted A. Berry Scholarship. Provides scholarship for a high school senior living within the city limits of Grove City and entering a field of agricultural bioscience such as Pre-Veterinary Sciences, Animal and Plant Sciences, Natural Resources, Biological Sciences or Agribusiness and Applied Economics.
  • Bishop Family Scholarship Fund. Income provides a scholarship for a worthy and needy sophomore student in the College who is a resident of Ohio, a present or former member of Ohio 4-H, FFA or FHA, and a current resident of the Ohio State residence halls or other approved residence.
  • Stephen J. and Catherine A. Blake Scholarship. Income provides scholarships to undergaduates in CFAES and SENR.
  • Bloom Family Scholarship. Provides scholarship for entering freshman from Ashtabula County with a 4-H background.
  • Bolender Memorial Scholarship. Provides scholarships to students enrolled in CFAES and studying dairy science and/or food science.
  • Bosserman Family Scholarship. Provides scholarships to students enrolled in CFAES and attending any campus, including ATI.
  • Stephen Brock Memorial Fund. Provides scholarships for juniors or seniors majoring in agricultural economics or agricultural education with preference to members of Delta Theta Sigma fraternity.
  • Shirley A. Brooks-Jones Scholarship in Agriculture. Income provides scholarships for undergraduate agriculture or natural resources students preferably from Vinton County and other southeastern Ohio residents.
  • Shirley Brooks-Jones & Ronald Jones Study Abroad Fund. Supports undergraduate students in agriculture and natural resources studying abroad for academic credit.
  • Carl L. and Elizabeth Broughton Scholarship in Agriculture Fund. Income provides undergraduate scholarships for worthy students in educational programs administered by the College with preference to residents of Ohio, West Virginia or Kentucky .
  • M. H. Brown Family Endowed Scholarship Fund. Income provides scholarships for students in the College to students from Fairfield County .
  • Wilbur H. Bruner Pork Industry Award (Bruner Scholarship Application required). Income is used for encouraging undergraduate and graduate students in the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences or the Agricultural Technical Institute to prepare for a career in the swine and pork industry through an internship in the pork industry.
  • Lydia D. Bruny Memorial Scholarship. Income provides scholarships for undergraduates from Guernsey, Fairfield or Perry Counties who are in the College.
  • Buckalew Family Scholarship Fund. Annual income provides an undergraduate scholarship to at least one student in the college with preference given to students who are current or former members of Ohio 4-H and are majoring in agribusiness and applied economics.
  • Bull Family Study Abroad Scholarship. Provides study abroad scholarships.
  • Burkett Family Scholarship Fund. Provides scholarships with preference given to candidates from Sandusky County, Ohio who demonstrate financial need.

C

  • Molly Caren Agriculture Vice Presidents Excellence Fund. 25% of the distribution supports study abroad programs in CFAES.
  • David and Dorothy Gainer Case Scholarship Fund. Supports Students enrolled in the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences with a preference to residents of Champaign or Clark County with a minimum 3.2 gpa.
  • The Central Ohio Associated General Contractors Construction System Fund. Provides one or more scholarships to undergraduate students ranked sophomore or higher who are enrolled in the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences and majoring in Construction Systems Management with an interest in commercial construction.
  • CFAES Achievement Fund. Scholarships for transfer students who have been very active in student organizations.
  • CFAES Nourishing Success Scholarship. Provides scholarships to cover the cost of a basic university dining plan for junior or senior students who are enrolled in CFAES and live off campus.
  • CFAES Outstanding First-Year Student Scholarship. The Outstanding First Year Student Scholarship is awarded by the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences Student Council to recognize two first year students (freshman or transfer) who have shown outstanding leadership within a club or organization.
  • CFAES Study Abroad Fund. Provides scholarship support for undergraduates participating in study abroad programs.
  • Code Family Scholarship. Provides scholarships for former 4-H members holding leadership positions and demonstrating financial need.
  • Albert A Churella Urban Gardening Scholarship Fund. Provides scholarships for students ranked as sophomore or higher who are studying urban gardening.
  • Helen Sells Clarkson Memorial Scholarship. Income provides scholarships for students majoring in the natural sciences in the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences.
  • Dr. Paul C. Clayton International Agriculture Award. Income supports domestic or international undergraduates or graduate students who are studying, working or conducting research in the U.S. or abroad.
  • Tim and Karen Corcoran Leadership Scholars Fund. Income supports students in becoming future leaders. Preference given to students who are focusing their studies on the agricultural sector in the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences and need to develop or broaden their leadership skills. Further preference given to students from Ross, Pike or Scioto counties.
  • Jack and Sandra Cotter Study Abroad Scholarship. Provides scholarships for students studying abroad with first preference to students majoring in Agricultural, Environmental and Development Economics. 
  • Jeff and Jane Cox Scholarship Fund. Income supports undergraduate students who are members of Alpha Gamma Sigma fraternity and have a minimum 3.0 gpa. Preference given to students who are involved in leadership positions in one or more student organizations recognized by The Ohio State University.
  • Evan J. Crane Memorial Scholarship Fund. Income provides scholarships for worthy and needy undergraduate students, with preference to students from Canal Winchester, Ohio, intending to enroll in the College.

D

  • John Deere Minority Recruitment and Retention Fund. Grant supports recruitment and retention activities for minority students including scholarships.
  • Deering Family Scholarship. Provides scholarships to undergraduates enrolled in CFAES, attending Columbus campus or ATI, and studying agricultural economics, horticulture, or agronomy.
  • Mary Jane Dovenbarger Scholarship Fund. Income provides a scholarship for an academically able and needy Ashland County undergraduate majoring in agriculture, human ecology or natural resources, with an interest in the 4-H program or other Cooperative Extension work as a career. If no student qualifies, it may be awarded to a graduate student from Ashland County preparing for a career in Extension.
  • George B. Durell Memorial Scholarship. Income provides renewable scholarship to entering freshmen students in agriculture with high ability.
  • George Britton Durell II Endowed Scholarship Fund. Provides scholarships for students enrolled in the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences.

E

  • Betty M. Edwards Scholarship Fund. Income provides scholarships for students enrolled in the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences. First preference goes to students from Licking County.
  • Nadine Foster and Merrel Quentin Elder Scholarship Fund. Income provides scholarships for students enrolled in the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences, including the School of Natural Resources. First preference is given to students from Coshocton County, Ohio. Second preference is given to students from Ohio.
  • Environment and Sustainability Scholarship. Income provides one or more scholarships to undergraduate students enrolled in the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences. Preference given to candidates in the following order: 1) pursuing a major in the School of Environment and Natural Resources (SENR); 2) pursuing a minor in SENR; 3) minoring in environmental economics.
  • Samuel B. Erskine 4-H Scholarship Fund. Income funds scholarships for 4-H members, who are high school seniors during application, entering the College or ATI and who are involved in community activities, leadership and citizenship. Preference is for members from Ross, Athens, and other Appalachian Ohio Counties.
  • Richard Evans Scholarship Fund. Income provides scholarships for students majoring in Agricultural, Environmental and Development Economics and /or Animal Sciences.  First preference should be given to a student from Champaign County.  Second preference should be given to a student from a contiguous county.
  • The E. Denslow and Josephine A. Eversole Endowed Scholarship Fund. Supports general scholarships to qualifying students who have obtained at least second-year status and have excelled in academic excellence, leadership activities and community service.

F

  • FAES Alumni Society Undergraduate Scholarship Endowment. Supports one or more undergraduate students enrolled in agriculture and natural resources who demonstrate leadership abilities in positions of authority in student clubs and activities across the College, including departmental or school clubs and activities. While financial need may be a consideration, significant emphasis will be placed on leadership contributions the students have made in their clubs or activities in terms of encouraging participation of other students, organization and implementation of the club's events and activities, and effectiveness as a leader within the group and across the College.
  • The Fine Swine Scholarship. Provides scholarships to students majoring in the Department of Agricultural, Environmental & Development Economics or the Department of Animal Sciences.  Preference is given to candidates from the state of Ohio who demonstrate financial need.
  • John C. "Jack" and Judy A. Fisher Family Scholarship. Provides a minimum of three scholarships per year. Preference to candidates who are Ohio Farm Bureau Members or relatives of a member.
  • Gordon and Mary Flax Scholarship Fund. Income supports a scholarship for a student from Clark County, Ohio, and of at least sophomore standing with a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.5. If there are no qualified students of at least sophomore standing, freshmen who meet all other criteria may be considered. 
  • The James A. and Mavis Fletcher Endowed Memorial Fund. Provides one scholarship or as large a portion of a scholarship as possible for first year undergraduate students with a minimum 2.85 GPA.  First preference is to a graduate of Harding High School in Marion, Ohio.  Second preference is to a student from any high school intending to study environmental science at the School of Environment and Natural Resources. Third preference is any area of study.
  • Foltz Family Fund. Supports the following three areas in a three year rotation: an undergraduate scholarship to a student who is a member of the Alpha Tau Zeta chapter of FarmHouse Fraternity who has demonstrated academic achievement and leadership; the restoration, refurbishment and/or maintenance of Cooke Castle on Gilralter Island in Lake Erie; a scholarship to a freshman student with declared intention to study Agriculture or Natural Resources who has demonstrated accomplishments in 4-H and/or FFA activities with emphasis on leadership and community service and preference for candidates from Gallia and Fairfield Counties of Ohio.
  • The Elizabeth Heller Fox Fund for Study Abroad. The annual distribution from the fund shall be used to provide study abroad scholarship support for undergraduate students in the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences who are participating in study abroad programs. Preference shall be given to those students majoring in Sustainable Plant Systems with Horticulture or Landscape Design specializations.
  • Dale T. Friday Scholarship Fund. Income supports scholarships to a Farm Science Review student employee in recognition of their employment record, financial need and academic accomplishments.

G

  • Gamma Sigma Delta Scholarship Fund. Income provides scholarships for the top sophomore and top senior student in the College recognized by GSD at their awards programs.
  • Michael Oliver Garraway Memorial Fund. (Garraway Scholarship Application required) The amount of each annual undergraduate scholarship shall be no greater than non-Ohio resident tuition and fees for a full-time student as determined by the University. Preference shall be given to students native to Dominica, secondary preference shall be given to students from islands comprising the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States.
  • Jean R. Geisman Memorial Fund. Income provides an undergraduate scholarship in the College to recognize students who demonstrate the qualities of outstanding leadership, scholarship and service as exemplified by Professor Jean R. Geisman.
  • David and Maxine Gerber Family Fund. Income provides undergraduate scholarships to sophomores or juniors who maintain a minimum of 3.0 gpa and are active in the Saddle and Sirloin Club.
  • Glory Foods Minority Scholarship. Supports an outstanding MANRRS student with preference to Food Science majors.
  • George G. Greenleaf Agri-Industry Award. Income provides undergraduate scholarships for entering freshmen and a minority agribusiness student.
  • William Griffith Family Scholarship Endowment Fund. Income supports students enrolled in the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences including entering freshmen. Must be Hardin County resident or adjacent county.
  • Frederick T. Grimm Scholarship Fund. Income funds scholarships for freshman students who have been enrolled in 4-H/FFA with preference for those from Ottawa and surrounding counties.
  • Guess Family Scholarship. First-time recipients must be enrolled in CFAES, working toward a two-year degree at ATI in Wooster enrolled in a program that requires an internship and must have minimum 3.0 GPA from high school or first year enrolled in ATI.
  • Jerome P. Gundrum Scholarship. Provides scholarships for incoming CFAES Students, including ATI.

H

  • Nick and Iris Swartz Hahn Scholarship Fund. Provides scholarships to incoming freshmen in agriculture at Columbus Campus from Hocking, Wyandot, Erie , or Huron counties. Renewable if academic record is satisfactory.
  • Thomas A. and John E. Hamrick Pickaway County Scholarship Fund. Income provides scholarships for students from Pickaway County who are interested in majoring in the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences, or the College of Human Ecology , and are former Pickaway County 4-H members. Criteria shall include outstanding scholarship achievement and leadership potential, with preference to those with financial need.
  • Scott Harman Annual Scholarship. Awarded to a qualifying junior or senior PGM major who demonstrates leadership, teamwork and has a positive impact on others.
  • Will C. Hauk Memorial Scholarship Fund. Income supports scholarships for students in the Agricultural Honors Program.
  • Haws Connally Scholarship. Income provides scholarships to undergraduate students who are enrolled in the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences who graduated from a high school in Wood County.
  • Dr. Roger C. and Margery Henderson Memorial Fund in the College of Food , Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences. Income is used for merit scholarships for entering students in the College.
  • Thomas P. Hennessy Memorial Scholarship Fund. Income provides scholarship support to students from Logan County attending The Ohio State University or any of its regional campuses who have been members of 4-H, FFA, or Family Consumer Sciences in the county with a minimum 2.75 GPA in high school, or a 2.5 GPA in college work completed. Application through and selection made by Logan County Extension.
  • Heritage Cooperative Scholarship. Income provides two scholarships for any Agricultural Technical Institute (ATI) student interested in further study at OSU's agricultural business program in the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences (CFAES). Students receiving these scholarships will have completed their academic work successfully at ATI and will have been accepted by CFAES for further studies.
  • Hazen and Anna Jane Hildebolt Preble County Scholarship Fund. Income provides scholarships for outstanding and needy Preble County students interested in agriculture or human ecology, with preference to Eaton High School seniors.
  • Lindsay Hill Memorial Scholarship. Income provides scholarships for students from Logan County majoring in Agricultural Communication and are sophomore rank or higher.
  • Robert and Dorothy Hodson Family 4-H Endowment Fund. Income provides scholarships for 4-H members, either current or alumni, of Highland County, Ohio.
  • Fred and Vida Hofacre Scholarship. Income provides scholarships for students from Wayne County.
  • Huffman Scholarship Fund. Income provides scholarships for students from Butler County who are enrolled in the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences.
  • Chester S. Hutchison Scholarship Fund. Income provides scholarships for entering students with high ability in the College.

I

  • The Lester E. Imboden Sr. M.D. and Mrs. I. Nadean Imboden Scholarship. Income provides annual scholarships for students in their junior or senior year in the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences. Preference shall be given to students who participated in 4-H or FFA in high school; or who have congressional internship experience; or who participate in OSU student organizations; or who have participated in community service programs, especially those in the field of health care.
  • Charles H. Ingraham and Josephine Dunkle Ingraham 4-H Scholarship Fund. Income provides a scholarship for incoming freshmen from Washington or Morgan Counties enrolled in the College who are present or former 4-H members with outstanding leadership potential and a demonstrated interest in the marketing of agricultural products.

J

  • Ed Johnson Scholarship Fund. Scholarship for a current 4-H or FFA student enrolling at the Columbus campus with preferred majors in Ag Communication or Agribusiness. Student must be in the upper 1/3 of high school class and have a record of leadership, citizenship and community service.
  • Marvin R. Johnson Scholarship Fund. The annual distribution from this fund shall be used to provide one or more scholarships for undergraduate students attending the Columbus campus, enrolled in the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences, and majoring in animal sciences or agricultural economics. Candidate must be ranked second year or higher and have a minimum grade point average of 3.0.
  • Lewis R. Jones Diversity Scholarship. Annual scholarship available to a sophomore or junior minority student with a 2.5 GPA in the College.
  • The Joseph Family Scholarship. Annual scholarship to undergraduates who have participated in 4-H and graduated from a high school in Licking or Knox counties.

K

  • Kalmbach Family Scholarship Fund. Income provides scholarships for students in the College with preference to students from Wyandot County who have expressed an interest in or are enrolled in a major in agribusiness or animal science.
  • Paul Anthony Kari Scholarship Award. Annual scholarship to undergraduate students with a minimum gpa of 3.5. Preference shall be given to first generation students majoring in agronomy.
  • Harold M. and Nancy S. Keener Endowed Scholarship. Supports two equal scholarships for sophomore students enrolled in CFAES--one scholarship for student majoring in FABE and one scholarship for student majoring in ASM.
  • Richard H. Kellogg Honors Scholarship Fund. Income provides honors undergraduate scholarships for animal science and dairy science majors.
  • Robert R. Kinney Memorial Scholarship. Provide scholarships to African-American students in agriculture with a minimum GPA of 2.50.
  • Roy M. Kottman Scholars Program. Income provides freshmen with renewable sophomore scholarships, based on academic achievement, leadership, communication skills, enthusiasm and dedication, for undergraduates in programs administered by the College.
  • The D. Todd and Kelly Kranz Leadership Award. Provides scholarship support for junior, senior, or graduate students in CFAES majoring or minoring in agribusiness and/or animal sciences and involved in a leadership position in one or more student organizations. First preference given to candidates who are members of Alpha Gamma Sigma fraternity.
  • Fawnye M. Kuohn Scholarship Fund. Income provides scholarships to students in animal science who have demonstrated academic ability and a need for financial assistance.
  • Richard A. Kuohn Scholarship Fund. Income provides scholarships to students in animal science and agricultural economics. Awards are made to those who have demonstrated academic ability and a need for financial assistance.

L

  • Frederick and Patricia Lichtensteiger Scholarship Endowment Fund. Income provides scholarships for Columbus campus students pursuing any of the agricultural majors (agribusiness and applied economics, agricultural communication, agricultural systems management, agricultural education, animal sciences, or crop science) within the B.S. in Agriculture degree or a B.S. in Food, Agricultural and Biological Engineering degree, with first preference for incoming students from Crestview High School of Convoy, Ohio; second preference for continuing students from Crestview High School of Convoy, Ohio; and third preference for continuing students from Van Wert County, Ohio.
  • Logan County 4-H Endowment Fund. Supports a 4-H youth from Logan County.
  • Lubrizol Scholarship in Agriculture. Recognizes scholastic achievement, good citizenship, and leadership qualities of sophomore, junior, or senior students in agriculture.

M

  • Paul A. Mahle Scholarship. Provides scholarships to first-year undergraduate students who are enrolled in CFAES, graduated from a high school in Mercer County, Ohio and demonstrates academic merit. Preference given to candidates who are former or current members of 4-H or FFA.
  • The Lloyd and Lorayne Mambourg Scholarship. Supports yearly single scholarship award to CFAES student to cover tuition and fees.
  • The Lloyd L. Mambourg Agriculture Student Support Endowment Fund. The annual distribution from this fund shall be used to support scholarships for worthy students attending the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences (the College) based on financial need, leadership skills, and academic promise. The recipients of the scholarships should be those “best and brightest” students who are experiencing financial difficulties.
  • James W. Marquand Family 4-H Scholarship Endowment Fund. Income provides at least one annual scholarship for an incoming student enrolled in the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences or ATI - Wooster.
  • Bert Martin Fund. Supports scholarships for any level undergraduate student in agriculture/natural resources on the Columbus Campus.
  • Joseph and Nina Mattus Memorial Scholarship. Income provides merit scholarships for high ability entering freshmen students enrolled in the College.
  • Robert J. McCoy Scholarship Fund. Income supports scholarships for students enrolled in the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences who are demonstrated leaders in student clubs with potential for success professionally.
  • The Colonel Bernard E. and Mrs. Mary R. McDaniel Scholarship Fund. Support scholarships for first-year undergraduate students who have demonstrated high academic achievement, are of full-time status, and federal work-study eligible. Preference given to public high school students who are the first generation in their immediate families to attend college with first preference given to students from Perry County, Ohio, and second preference given to students from any Appalachian Ohio county. 
  • Paul P and Annabelle W Mechling Scholarship Fund. Income provides scholarships to students from Champaigne, Darke, Fairfield, Hocking, Muskingum, or Perry Counties studying Agriculture Education and Human Ecology Education. Preference given to current or former members of Ohio 4-H or Ohio FFA.
  • Guy and Jeannette Miller Scholarship Fund. Income provides scholarships for Ohio high school graduates who have an outstanding record in academic work as well as in 4-H Club accomplishments, with awards made in alternate years to students entering the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences or the College of Human Ecology .
  • CFAES Ray A. Miller Council Scholarship. This scholarship is awarded annually to current members of the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences Student Council.  Selection for the award is based on the individual’s  contribution to College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences Council, leadership roles and responsibilities in other campus organizations.
  • The Phillip and Gail Minerich Scholarship Fund. Income used to support one scholarship for an undergraduate student in the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences who is majoring in Food Science and has demonstrated financial need. The student may retain the scholarship as long as the criteria is met and a GPA of 3.0 is maintained.
  • The John E. and Charlotte B. Moore 4-H, Minority Scholarship Endowment Fund. Income provides scholarships to incoming minority undergraduate students who are, or have been, members of the 4-H program.
  • The Pat and Bobby Moser Scholars Annual Fund.

  • Mount Family Study Abroad Scholarship Fund. The annual income is used to provide support for undergraduate students who are participating in study abroad programs in the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences with first preference given to students in Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences majors, and second preference given to students in any major.

N

  • The Nationwide and Davis Family Endowed Scholarship. Provides a scholarship to an undergraduate student who is from Highland County or graduated from a Highland County high school. Preference given to incoming freshmen or transfer students who have been involved in 4-H or FFA for multiple years.
  • The L.H. and Beverly Newcomb Alpha Zeta Partners Study Abroad Fund. The annual income from this fund shall be used to support at least one scholarship for an undergraduate student majoring in Agricultural and Extension Education who is a meber of Alpha Zeta Partners and who is participating in the Alpha Zeta Partners study abroad program.
  • The Mike and Jill Eversole Nolan and Family Study Abroad Fund.The annual distribution from this fund shall be used to support one scholarship for an undergraduate student currently enrolled in an approved study abroad program in the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences.
  • Nourishing Success Scholarship. Funds are used to support scholarshps to cover the costs of a basic university dining plan for junior or senior student(s) who are enrolled in the College, live off-campus and demonstrate financial need.

O

  • Carl F. and Marjorie Cottingham Obenauf Merit Scholarship. Income provides agricultural merit scholarships for undergraduate U.S. citizens intending to major in food science in the College.
  • Ohio Agribusiness Association Gary King Scholarship. Provides scholarships to former high school athletes studying agriculture at OSU.
  • Ohio Agribusiness Association Endowed Scholarship. Provides at least four scholarships for students in the College.
  • Ohio Expo Youth Reserve Fund 1. Provides scholarshps to incoming students who are enrolled in CFAES, attending any campus, and are current junior exhibitors at the Ohio State Fair.
  • Ohio Expositions Commission Chairs Scholarship Endowment Fund. Provides at least one scholarship to a Junior Fair exhibitor at the Ohio State Fair. Recipients must be entering The Ohio State University Columbus campus, ATI or any of its regional campuses and majoring in Animal Sciences. In the event that there are no qualified students majoring in Animal Sciences, applicants enrolled in the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences who meet the other criteria may be considered for the scholarship. Candidates shall be nominated by the Ohio State Fair Scholarship Committee and selected by the College.
  • Ohio Expositions Commission, Ohio State Fair General Manager's Scholarship Fund. Provides a single scholarship to an incoming first year student who is a current Youth Participant at the Ohio State Fair.  Preference given to candidates majoring in Animal Sciences.
  • Ohio Expositions Commissioners Scholarship Endowment Fund. Provides at least one scholarship to a Junior Fair exhibitor at the Ohio State Fair. Recipients must be entering The Ohio State University Columbus campus, ATI or any of its regional campuses and majoring in Animal Sciences. In the event that there are no qualified students majoring in Animal Sciences, applicants enrolled in the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences who meet the other criteria may be considered for the scholarship.
  • The Ohio Horsemen's Benevolent & Protective Association Scholarship Fund. Provides annual scholarships to incoming freshmen from Ohio. Recipients must have participated in 4-H. Preference to students with experience in the equine industry or plans to study equine.
  •  Ohio Pedologists Scholarship Fund. Scholarships support one or more students studying soil science, with an emphasis in soil geography and/or soil genesis, morphology, and classification. 
  • Ohio State Fair Hall of Fame Band and Choir Scholarship. Provides scholarship awards to one Ohio State Fair band member and one Ohio State Fair choir member each year.
  • Ohio State Fair Hall of Fame Junior Fairboard Scholarship. Income used to provide schoalrship awards to members of the Ohio State Fair Junio Fair Board.
  • The Ohio State Fair Hall of Fame Non-Livestock Junior Fair Exhibitors Scholarship Endowment Fund. Provides a minimum of 2 scholarship awards to non-livestock junior fair exhibitors at the Ohio State Fair. Must exhibit during the year of application.
  • Ohio State Fair Scholarship. Provides a scholarship for a student in CFAES as part of the Pat and Bobby Moser Scholars program.
  • Ohio Turfgrass Foundation Scholarship. Provides scholarships for students in CFAES studying turfgrass science or turfgrass management.
  • Outstanding First Year Student Scholarship. Awarded by the CFAES Student Council to recognize two first year students who have shown outstanding leadership within a club or organization.

P

  • Dr. Jill A. Pfister Alpha Zeta Support Fund.  Used to support expenses related to international travel and leadership study programs for The Alpha Zeta Partners Program within CFAES.
  • Poston Family Scholarship. Provides scholarships to CFAES undergraduates. Preference given to students majoring in sustainable agriculture or related fields of interest.

R

  • The Daniel Renn Memorial Ohio International Agricultural and Horticultural Intern Program Scholarship Endowment Fund. The annual income shall be used to provide undergraduate international educational travel scholarships for German students to wineries in the U.S. through The Ohio State University International Program in the College of Food , Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences.
  • Alvin and Dan Reuwee Memorial Fund. Income shall be used to support program related activities for a student participating in the Alpha Zeta Partners Leadership Program in the College of Food , Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences. The recipient shall be a sophomore or junior ranking. Preference shall go to a student who has demonstrated interest in and/or has completed coursework in cooperative education, and/or dairy marketing, and/or agricultural communication.
  • Joel and Laura Rhoades Scholarship. Provides a scholarship to an incoming student from Lucas or Van Wert counties.
  • Governor James A Rhodes Scholarship. Provides scholarships to incoming freshmen or undergraduates with a history of active participation in Junior Fair activities at the Ohio State Fair.
  • The Jean Barger Rice Trust Endowed Scholarship. Supports a recipient from Fayette County enrolled in CFAES and attending the Columbus campus or a regional campus including ATI. Preference to students who have participated in 4-H.
  • Richards Farms Scholarships. Used to support undergraduate scholarships for students in the Department of Agricultural, Environmental and Development Economics who are also members of the Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity.
  • Bob Rodabaugh Agricultural Scholarship Fund. Provides scholarships for student enrolled in agriculture from Madison or contiguous counties.
  • Roe Family Scholarship. Provides scholarships to undergraduate students in the College attending either the Columbus or Wooster campus and who have participated in 4-H. Preference to students from Erie County, Ohio otherwise to a 4-H student.
  • Clarence A and Beatrice E Rohrbach Scholarship. Provides scholarships to undergraduate students in the College.
  • Delma L. Roush Scholarship. The annual distribution from this fund shall be used to award scholarships to incoming or current undergraduate or graduate students enrolled in the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences, including ATI, who attended high school in Gallia, Meigs, or Jackson counties in Ohio. First year recipients must have graduated in the top third of their high school class and attended a high school in Gallia, Meigs, or Jackson counties in Ohio. The scholarship can be renewed if the recipient maintains a grade point average of 3.0 or higher at the end of each academic year.
  • C. E. Rowland Memorial Scholarship Fund. Income provides scholarships for students from Clark County entering the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences or Human Ecology. Application to and selection by the Clark County Extension staff.
  • Medard AJ Ruehle Memorial Award Fund. Income provides scholarships for students who have completed the equivalent of six or more quarter hours.
  • Carl Ruff Memorial Fund. Income provides scholarships for juniors or seniors in the College with outstanding leadership potential and above average scholastic achievement, with preference to students with a strong 4-H background. Excess income supports the International 4-H Youth Exchange Program (IFYE).
  • George E. Ruff Scholarship. Provides a scholarship to an undergraduate student in the college who has held a state officer position in the FFA and has a 3.0 or better GPA.
  • Donald H. Russ Scholarship Fund. Income provides scholarships for students from Carroll County, Ohio in the College.

S

  • The Margaret and Robert Scherer Family Scholarship Fund. Income provides support for one four-year scholarship for an undergraduate student in the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences as part of the Pat and Bobby Moser Scholars Program who are residents of the State of Ohio with preference given of the following counties in this order: Pickaway, Fayette, Ross
  • Glenn and Beverly Schmidt Study Abroad Student Support Fund. Provides travel support to agriculture or natural resources students in approved university study abroad programs in agriculture.
  • The Don Schuerman Family Memorial Scholarship Fund. Supports one or more scholarships to be awarded annually to undergraduate students in the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences. First preference shall be given to students from Wood County, Ohio, who are majoring in Agricultural Economics, Animal Sciences, or Crop Science who have outstanding achievements and who continue to lead and serve in the University community. If there are no eligible students from Wood County, then second preference is for students from the contiguous counties in northwest Ohio whose majors and leadership are consistent with the first preference standards.
  • The Aaron Selby Memorial 4-H Scholarship Fund. Provides need-based scholarships to undergraduate students from the State of Ohio. Candidates must have participated in 4-H for at least four years and demonstrate community service. Preference given to candidates from Fairfield County, Ohio.
  • Service-Jerome Scholarship Fund. Income provides one or more scholarships to students from Ashtabula County preferably, but not limited to, entering freshmen enrolling in the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences and/or the College of Human Ecology, or the ATI.
  • The Sharp Memorial Scholarship Fund. Provides scholarships for undergraduate students from Ohio. Scholarship awards shall be based on financial need.
  • Lloyd G. and Virginia Sharp Memorial Scholarship Fund for Carroll County. Income provides scholarships to students from Carroll County entering or enrolled in either The Ohio State University College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences or the Agricultural Technical Institute at Wooster. Criteria for selection will include scholarship, leadership and participation in extracurricular activities.
  • The James A. Shertzer/Julie Kennel Enodowed Scholarship Fund.  The student must demonstrate abilities in leadership positions in student clubs and activities across the college, including departmental or school clubs and activities. Significant emphasis will be placed on leadership contributions the student has made in their clubs or activities in encouraging participation by other students, organization and implementation of club events and activities, and effectiveness as a leader within the group and across the college.
  • Earl S. and Florence G. Simmonds Undergraduate Leadership and Merit Endowment Fund. Supports undergraduate students with preference to (but not limited to) students in the Department of Animal Sciences who have a minimum 3.0 GPA and a strong desire to succeed in the College. Income can be used to provide tuition support to students who exhibit a "true" need for financial support with preference given to those in the University Work-Study Program and are enrolled in the College. The endowment may also be used to support undergraduate leadership programs or activities that enhance the skills of the College's student leaders.
  • Sterling W. and Fayetta F. Simonds Study Abroad Fund. Income is used for special projects or programs which will enhance the learning experience for students in the College. Currently is used to support study abroad students to the Czech Republic.
  • The Cecil and Dorothy Smith Endowed Scholarship Fund. One half supports one or more scholarships for first year students who have been admitted to the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences. Eligible students must be graduates of public secondary schools serving the residents of Pleasant Township in Franklin County, Ohio, or the specific area bounded by Pleasant Township in 1995. On October 29, 2010, these high schools were Grove City High School and Central Crossing High School. One half supports one or more scholarships to students who are entering the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences as freshmen. First preference shall be given to students who are majoring in Animal Sciences from Jackson County, Ohio. Second preference shall be given to students who are majoring in Crop Science from Jackson County, Ohio. If there are no eligible students from Jackson County, then students majoring in Animal Sciences or Crop Science from the regional counties of Vinton, Gallia, Lawrence, Scioto, Pike, and Meigs may be considered. Candidates should have demonstrated involvement with FFA and/or 4-H.
  • Mervin G. Smith Student and Faculty Fund in International Agriculture. Income provides scholarships for undergraduate and/or graduate students in the College and closely related areas that have demonstrated academic ability and financial need, with preference given to those training, studying or engaged in research abroad. Income will also be used for an International Award of Merit each year to the outstanding Gamma Sigma Delta international faculty member, and for seminars and similar uses.
  • Paul Smucker Scholarship. Provides scholarship support for an entering food science student.
  • The J.M. Smucker Company Scholarship. The annual distribution from this fund shall be used to provide renewable undergraduate scholarships with preference given to students pursuing degrees in the Department of Food Science and Technology.
  • The Dorothy Southard Family Scholarship. Income provides scholarships with a preference freshmen who have participated in 4H and have stated intentions to pursue farm-related careers.
  • Blanche K. and James H. Stanton Scholarship Fund. Provides scholarships for undergraduate CFAES students.
  • C. B. and Ardis H. Stewart Scholarship Fund. Income provides scholarships to entering freshmen who are residents of Wood County, Ohio.
  • The Ruby Roush Stinson and William S. Stinson Jr. Scholarship Endowment. Income supports scholarships for undergraduate and /or graduate students enrolled in the Department of Food Science and Technology.
  • Stitzlein Family Scholarship. Income provides scholarships to undergraduates enrolled in CFAES.
  • Students First, Students Now Scholarship Fund. Provides need-based scholarships for students in the College.
  • Robert F. Suerdieck Scholarship Fund. Income is to provide scholarships for students in good academic standing in the College.
  • Roy and Virginia Hyde Sultzbach Memorial Scholarship. Income supports merit scholarships to high ability entering students with opportunity to renew annually if conditions are met.

T

  • Robert S. Tennant Scholarship. Provides schoarships to students enrolled in the College and majoring in agricultural economics and/or natural resources.
  • Donald W. Thomas State FFA Foundation Officer Scholarship Fund. Provides a scholarship to an incoming undergraduate student in the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences who is a current or past officer of Ohio State FFA with exemplary service.

U

  • Undergraduate Agriculture Scholarship Fund. Income provides a nonrestrictive scholarship for an undergraduate in agriculture in the College.
  • Undergraduate Honors Research Scholarship. Scholarships for honor students completing an honors project for Graduation with Distinction.
  • University Grange Fellowship Fund. Income provides scholarships or fellowships for students with a Grange background as recommended by the Dean of the College.

V

  • Vance Family 4-H Fund. Income provides scholarships for current or former 4-H members.
  • The Vaughan Family 4-H Scholarship Fund. Provides support to an incoming first year student with preference to students with demonstrated need who have participated in 4-H in Crawford County.

W

  • The CFAES Washington DC Public Policy Internship Fund. Awarded to a student pursuing an internship in Public Policy or Government relations in Washington, DC.
  • Paul A. and Betty L. Whittington Endowed Scholarship Fund. Income provides scholarships for undergraduate students in the College of Food , Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences with first preference to students who have graduated from East Clinton High School . The second preference shall be given to students from Clinton County, Ohio.
  • Geraldine and Arthur Winfough Jr. Scholarship. The annual distribution from this fund is used to support one or more four-year scholarships of at least 25% of tuition and fees per year for undergraduate students in the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences as part of the Pat and Bobby Moser Scholars Program with preference given to students from Pickaway County, Ohio.
  • Wornick Foods Military and Veterans Student Scholarship. This fund provides up to three scholarships to students enrolled in the College who are active-duty service members or veterans and have exhausted their Department of Veterans Affairs benefits, have partial benefits or are in need of financial assistance.

Y

  • William H. Yarber Sr. and Glenna R. Yarber Scholarship. Provides scholarships to CFAES students employed with the Farm Science Review and/or Molly Caren Agricultural Center.

Z

  • Doris and Robert Zulauf Scholarship. This fund supports undergraduate students who are enrolled in CFAES and are pursuing an internship in the Washington, D.C. area. Priority will be given to students who have been accepted into the John Glenn College of Public Affairs Washington Academic Internship Program or its successor.
