Resources for Families of New OSU Students
We are so thrilled that you and your student have chosen CFAES! While the students have a lot of information to absorb, sessions to attend, and tasks to complete as part of their Orientation session, we want to make sure that you, their families and loved ones, also have a crucial role to play! Below are some important ways you can support your student through Orientation and beyond...
Encourage your student to participate fully in their Orientation Carmen course, explore the course requirements for their major, and reach out to fellow new students!
Confirm your student has successfully scheduled their individual advising/registration session (as directed in their Carmen course)
Make sure your student is aware of upcoming registration deadlines and the academic calendar
