In one sentence, why did you become a Peer Mentor? I wanted to become a peer mentor because I really connected with my peer mentor and I want to provide that same connection to incoming freshman. I know what it is like to struggle socially and academically and I have gone through many of the struggles my mentees probably will as well, so I can use my past experience to help them.
