The CFAES Staff Advisory Council (SAC) held its annual luncheon Nov. 21 in the Ohio Union’s Cartoon Room to honor four staff members nominated by their peers for excellence.
Ron Hendrick, senior associate dean of CFAES, provided the opening remarks, including thanking SAC and congratulating the award winners.

OSU Extension held its annual conference at the Ohio Union in Columbus Dec. 4. Extension faculty and staff heard from Vice President and Dean Bruce McPheron, OSU Extension Director Keith Smith, and keynote speaker Marshall Stewart. Marshall currently serves as an associate director with the North Carolina State University Cooperative Extension Service.

The 2014 Diversity Leadership Symposium, “In-reach to Outreach: Fostering Cultural Engagement through Awareness, Reflection and Action,” goes from 8 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. Feb. 7, 2014, in the Nationwide and Ohio Farm Bureau 4-H Center on Ohio State’s Columbus campus. Lee Mun Wah will be the keynote speaker. There will also be a film preview of “If These Halls Could Talk” from 6-9 p.m. Feb. 6.

Please welcome Chris Delisio to the college as our chief advancement officer. Chris will lead CFAES’s evolving advancement strategy with a central focus on increasing resources to address the college’s programming and capital priorities as identified in the college’s $150 million target within Ohio State’s $2.5 billion comprehensive “But for Ohio State” campaign.

In October, we announced a series of steps that are being implemented to reorganize and align our communications and technology units. There are three overarching goals of this reorganization and realignment:
