2013 CFAES Undergraduate Research Forum Highlights

The College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences (CFAES) hosted the Tenth Annual CFAES Undergraduate Research Forum on Tuesday, February 26, 2013.  Thirty-two undergraduate student researchers from CFAES and the School of Environment and Natural Resources shared their research in a poster presentation format with faculty, staff, fellow students, and invited mentors, family members and guests.  A complete listing of student projects and faculty judges can be found at:  http://cfaes.osu.edu/students/academics/undergraduate/research/cfaes-undergraduate-research-forum/2013

 

Projects were grouped into five categories as follows:

 

1) Animal Sciences – Nutrition  

2) Animal Sciences – Production & Management

3) Environmental & Plant Sciences

4) Food Science & Engineering

5) Social Sciences

 

In addition to a luncheon in their honor, all students received a $50 gift card to Barnes & Noble for their efforts. Prizes were also awarded to the top-ranked researchers in each category.  Please join the College in congratulating the following winners:

1st            Suzannah McMullen, AgriScience Education major from Lancaster, OH

                Nicole Steinmetz, AgriScience Education major from Bellevue, OH

2nd           Ariel Miller, Environmental Policy & Management, Anthropology majors (dual degrees) from Cincinnati, OH
