When we say we're hands-on, we mean it. Our faculty engage directly with our students, serving as advisors and mentors. Our students stay active in multiple ways: through industry internships and real-world fieldwork, and in more than 35 clubs and organizations in the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences alone.

We turned the top of Howlett Hall into Ohio State's first publicly accessible green roof.

Our students and professors are performing research with professional football teams to turn stadium food waste into renewable energy and organic fertilizer.

Through our powerful connections with the food industry, our alums go on to work with major brands to enhance flavors and create entirely new products.

We're leading the way in developing new agricultural practices that maximize a farm's productivity and profit while shrinking its environmental footprint.

Study Abroad is a big part of the experience in the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences. In fact, nearly 40% of our students take part in a program.

Whether they trek the rainforests of Australia or build a biodigester in Costa Rica, our students travel around the planet and return with an entirely new outlook on life.
