South Africa: Study Abroad Info Session

South Africa Exotic Animal Behavior and Welfare Info Session

This program gives students the opportunity to see how conservation, animal management and tourism come together in an exotic setting.  Students live in cabins in Johannesburg, South Africa with daily animal interactions whether it be in a zoo, conservation or rehabilitation centers or on safari in a National Park.  The pre-requisite course of Animal Sciences 2400.05 (Autumn only) and an interview will be required.  More information is available at:  It is very likely that the program fee will be set at $6022.  This will be firm in the next couple of days.
