The 15th annual Micki Zartman Scarlet & Gray Ag Day will once again be held at The Ohio State University on Friday, April 19th, 2013 from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm.
Nearly 400 fourth and fifth graders from central Ohio will journey to the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences Campus to spend the entire day rotating through hands-on science based sessions and learning all about agriculture.
This year’s theme is: AgROUND the World. This theme was selected because agriculture is the underlying solution to many of the world’s dilemmas. By experiencing agriculture around the world, students will realize how much of a role agriculture plays in their lives and the lives of the global population.
Ag Day Locations: Howlett Hall, Parker Food Science Building, Animal Science Building, Plumb Hall, Ag Quad Area, Ag Administration Building, Ag Engineering Building, Ag Engineering Courtyard and the Nationwide and Ohio Farm Bureau 4-H Center.
