This four-week program is in year 26 of being hosted by the Czech Life Sciences University (CZU) and has a positive track record as an Ohio State favorite. Students explore the dramatic history of this small Central European nation through lectures, field trips and plenty of free time in Prague. Study development and economic change from the days of King Charles to the birth of Czechoslovakia under communism, through the peaceful "Velvet Revolution" and into their ascent into the European Union. The story of Czech development is told in many various contexts, but agriculture and natural resources are the focus.
