Attend an information session to learn about the Czech Republic: Central Europe in Transition (go.osu.edu/Czech) summer 2014 study abroad program. This program studies how the country (politically, socially and economically) transitioned from being ruled as an empire to monarchy to democracy to communism to fascism to being a member of the European Union. This program is based near Prague and will give students the opportunity to visit the entire country, interact with Czech as well as other students from around the globe and see the economic transition of Central Europe.
Specifics:
Dates – July 6-August 17, 2014 (6 weeks)
Credit – 9 credit hours (3 each of Rural sociology; Agricultural, Environmental and Development Economics; and International Studies)
Cost – $5,091 (which includes lodging, coursework, all required excursions and field trips and all meals (combination of meals and allowance); It does not cover airfare, tuition, your passport, personal travel and expenditures)
