Statement Regarding Recent Tragic Events of Racial Violence and Discrimination

In light of the tragedies and response across the Country, Student Life’s Counseling and Consultation Service (CCS) extends our support to those affected. These threatening and violent acts, most recently the murder of George Floyd, are repetitive and ongoing in our society. Ohio State students have joined the many who are raising their voices for change. CCS acknowledges the impact on Ohio State students and recognizes that direct or indirect exposure to such violence can be traumatizing and result in many emotional reactions.
