Student Services

Being a Buckeye is more than just taking classes at Ohio State. Check out the opportunities for living and eating on campus and what to do between classes.

Be confident in the knowledge that the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences (CFAES) puts students first and prepares you with the tools you will need to enter the workforce. CFAES’s Career Services offers support with resumes, cover letters, interviewing skills, and internship and job placement. Over the last five years, more than 92 percent of graduating seniors reported employment with an average starting salary of $36,042 or acceptance into a graduate program within six months of graduation.

Several career expos are held each year, with more than 100 companies in attendance. Also, a web-based job and internship database, Hireabuckeye, connects students, alumni, and prospective employers.

CFAES’s Multicultural Student Services offers multicultural student organizations, activities, and study abroad programs. Upon graduation, students automatically become members of the CFAES Alumni Society, and career services continue well after college.
