    Spring Break 2019 Scotland Ruminants Program. This education abroad program is open to students of all majors and ranks!  In this program, students will examine small ruminant heritage breeds of Scotland, visit the University of Glasgow School of Veterinary Medicine, meet and enjoy lectures by University of Glasgow faculty, and explore Scotland's history, myths, and landscape. The dates of this program are March 8 - 17, 2019.

     Spring Break 2019 Costa Rica: Sustainable Service Learning Program. This education abroad program is open to students of all majors and ranks!  In this program, students will learn about development and sustainability through service projects with EARTH University. The dates of this program are March 8 - 17, 2019.  For more information, please contact Difei Shen(.1040), or Paul Heimberger(.5).

    Where your revolutionary ideas build the future of farming! SmartAg4.0 is a competition for students who are passionate about revolutionizing the future of food system through technology and innovation. This year SmartAg4.0 will focus on the dairy industry with four domain topics to choose from: sustainable nutrition, sensors & smart packaging, internet of things, and blockchain. Form your team and compete against your peers in this 24-hour “hack-a-thon” style event, to pitch the best idea! Over $5,000 in prizes available!

    The purposes of this organization shall be: Be a club where students who are interested in Agricultural Communications, whether that is their major or not, can gather and be a positive force in the College of Food, Agricultural and Environmental Sciences. A). To stimulate interest in the profession of agricultural communication on the campus, state, national and international levels. B). To promote the interchange of ideas among students and faculty members at colleges and universities that offer professional education in agricultural communication. C).

    Evolution in Darwin’s World and Ours provides an opportunity for students to learn how evolutionary theory relates to all careers and even every-day life. Students studying biology, medicine, history, literature, philosophy, etc. will all be able to relate to discussions on historical and modern interpretations of the origins of life, scientific inquiry, and the acceptance of new ideas.

    Have you ever wanted to study while on safari? With this program you could do just that! The goal of this program is to help students learn and exhibit an understanding of exotic animal species behavior and welfare considerations in the context of: 1) variation in environmental habitats (open range, controlled contact, and zoological settings, etc.), 2) management of animal health and well-being, and 3) comparisons with domesticated species.
