The goal of this program is to help students learn and exhibit an understanding of exotic animal species behavior and welfare considerations in the context of: 1) variation in environmental habitats (open range, controlled contact, and zoological settings, etc.), 2) management of animal health and well-being, and 3) comparisons with domesticated species.

    Spring Break 2019 Scotland Ruminants Program. This education abroad program is open to students of all majors and ranks!  In this program, students will examine small ruminant heritage breeds of Scotland, visit the University of Glasgow School of Veterinary Medicine, meet and enjoy lectures by University of Glasgow faculty, and explore Scotland's history, myths, and landscape. The dates of this program are March 8 - 17, 2019.
