The College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences Celebration of Students Program is one of the most highly anticipated events of the academic year. It is a celebration of student excellence, as well as a time to show appreciation for the contributions made by faculty, staff, and also friends outside of the college, that improve the student experience.
Students are recruited each fall to serve on the Planning Commitee. It is great fun, an excellent way to get to know students from other departments, and an opportunity to exercise your organizational and leadership skills!
Historically, more than 600 guests attend each year, making it one of the largest student-run events on the Ohio State campus. In the past, there were exciting themes, delicious meals, and fun-filled entertainment. Due to COVID-19, the event was cancelled in 2020, and will be held as either a hybrid event or in a completely virtual format in 2021. Final decisions on the format will be made in January.
Our 2021 event will be the first (and hopefully only one) of its kind. Mark your calendar for April 15th to be a part of this engaging and celebratory evening!
Awards presented throughout the evening include:
