Celebration of Students

The Celebration of Students Week was created in 2016 to celebrate all students in CFAES. Our goal is to provide fun activities, giveaways or events to show students our appreciation. Activities take place both on the Columbus campus as well as the Wooster campus and are open for all students enrolled in the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences.

Activities and programming for 2021 is scheduled for April 12-16. The safety of our community is our top priority. Balloon selfie stations will be installed in Columbus (Agricultural Administration, Agricultural Engineering, Kottman Hall, Parker Food Science and Animal Sciences) and in Wooster (Skou Hall, Halterman Hall, Applewood Village and Science Building). If you are a student attending classes in-person on either of these campus locations please stop by to take a picture and tag us #CFAESselfiespot when you share it on social media.

In addition, for all students enrolled in CFAES we will be mailing packets to students. The 2021 packet will be FREE and will even include socks! We are mailing packets in May to all current CFAES students, both undergraduate and graduate. To receive yours, we need your best mailing address. This address should be where you can receive mail during early Summer 2021 (Packets should be mailed in May). Please share it with us at

Faculty and staff in the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences are encouraged to support our students throughout this week as well. Download your Zoom background. Additionally, we also have a Facebook frame available for download. (Search CFAES to find the frame on Facebook.)
