CFAES Food Drive, November 11th-22nd
To celebrate our CFAES sesquicentennial and this season of giving, we need your help to collect nonperishable and toiletry items for our on-campus pantry.
Starting on Monday, November 11th, we’re challenging you and your CFAES club or organization to collect these items. In the spirit of the sesquicentennial, clubs that collect 150 items will receive 10 points for the Student Council CFAES Olympics. The top team with the most items will receive an additional 5 points. If your club does not participate in the Olympics the top club will have the chance to attend pizza with the dean!
To participate, all that we ask of your organization is to be able to provide a box for the goods to be stored in. Friday, November 22nd is the last day of the food drive. At that point we ask that you: 1.) take a picture of your club representatives with all of the collected items and submit your picture to email@example.com; and 2.) deliver your goods to either Agricultural Administration Building, room 250 or Kottman Hall room 210. If you need a box, please contact Scott Dining Hall operations manager Jason Holbrook.144. Please complete the Google Doc below by November 18th if your club is participating. On Thursday, November 21st, we will email you to see about your progress and to determine your drop off location.
Boxes will be set up in entryways of all CFAES buildings, including the 4-H Center. Contributions can be made from November 11th-22nd.
If you have any questions about the food drive please direct them to Sarah Williams(.4263).
