What will the Spring 2021 Commencement Ceremony be like?

Graduates at a Graduation Ceremony We’re so excited The Ohio State University will host a modified in-person Spring Commencement for graduates at the Ohio Stadium on Sunday, May 9! 

Our College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences/School of Environment and Natural Resources graduates will be participating in the 11 a.m. ceremony. 
We will be handing out your diplomas while you enter the stadium, so we look forward to seeing you that day!

In addition, our CFAES Wooster ATI Graduation Celebration will take place on Saturday, May 8!  Read more on the CFAES Wooster website.

Will the in-person Spring Commencement Ceremony at the Ohio Stadium be broadcast online this year?

Yes! A livestream will be available for those who cannot watch the ceremony in person. Watch this Commencement livestream on the University's Commencement website.

What safety protocols are in place due to the current COVID-19 pandemic?

•    Masks must be worn by all attendees during the entire Commencement Ceremony at the stadium.
•    Two guests can accompany each graduate. Each pod of three, including the masked graduate, family and/or friends, will be separated by 6 feet from others.
•    All graduates, including staff members who are graduating, are required to complete a COVID-19 test during the week of May 3.

WHAT IF I DON'T WANT TO ATTEND COMMENCEMENT?

Complete the Commencement Excusal Form and email it to CFAES Academic Affairs. The form notifies us of your absence and how you would like to receive your diploma. SENR students

When will 2020 classes be able to participate in a Commencement Ceremony?

Graduates from the Class of 2020 will be recognized at the Sunday, Aug. 8 Commencement Ceremony! Read more about this on the University’s Commencement website.
